My inverted sugar scuttle wind chime features 7 rods and one gravel ladel bowl clapper to generate peaceful, quited tones.  The sound is excellent.  I chose grey-blue and clear crystal beads for this piece.  Be sure to turn on the sound on the video.

Sugar scuttles, a Victorian invention, emerged in the mid-19th century (around 1850). They were inspired by coal scuttles and served as decorative, silver-plated or silver-plated sugar containers, often paired with matching scoops. The name "scuttle" likely refers to the sound of the sugar moving within the container, reminiscent of sparrow chatter.

Occasionally spray beads with window cleaner, then with water and drip dry. Hang in a VERY sheltered area such as inside or a closed porch.  This size is also great in windows hanging from a hook or from a curtain rod.  The beautiful beads cast rainbows in the room.
